The experience in the HKETO is different from the companies in Hong Kong. First of all, it is not that stressful to work in here compare to Hong Kong as for every project or task, we have a deadline and which you can use your time very flexible. Moreover, people here are very nice as well, since the office only have less than 20 people, all of us have a close relations with each other, 1-2 days in a week, someone even not in my unit and ask me how am I doing in the intern and also how is my life in Berlin. Last but not least, I think working in the CPRU is a good place for me as I can know more about the interesting facts behind different countries during my research. Also I can share my thought s to others and put it in use, for example, the post in HKETO Berlin about Dai Pai Dong, Street foods, Night Tea House culture are actually created by myself with the support of my colleagues. It feel so nice to see your idea and works being approved by others!

For the difficulties that I encounter during the internship is definitely the language problem and the unity of doing reports in Government department. For the language problems, as I need to summarize the news from Central and Eastern European (CEE) Countries, sometimes I don't understand the language they are using and use Google Translate but turns out the Google Translate would give some very weird sentence that I don't understand. For the problem of unity, the government departments require a very precise unity for all documents, from word formats to the word order, use of words and name of document etc should follow the government standard or the previous documents
