In just six weeks, I quickly adapted to the vibrant lifestyle of New York, feeling right at home in this diverse and dynamic city. Similar to Hong Kong, the convenient transportation system and the open-mindedness of the locals towards multiculturalism have made my daily life convenient and comfortable.

I was as an intern at an advertising company, specifically in the media department. The professionalism and open communication style of my colleagues have left a lasting impression on me. Attending meetings and seminars has not only provided valuable insights into the advertising industry but also motivated me to enhance my communication skills. Initially, I struggled with the language barrier, hesitating to engage in conversations due to my lack of fluency. However, I realized that perfection wasn't expected, and I began actively participating by using simple greetings to initiate interactions.

Adapting to the fast-paced American work culture has been a challenge. I've learned to manage my time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively. The advertising industry's innovation and creativity have encouraged me to think of diverse solutions and express my opinions.

Living in New York, I've immersed myself in the city's rich culture and arts. Exploring museums, art exhibitions, and music performances has been inspiring and enriching. Every day brings new opportunities for discovery.

Overall, my experience in New York has been rewarding, shaping my perspective and providing valuable skills for my future. I've overcome language barriers, embraced the work culture, and indulged in the city's vibrant atmosphere. New York has become a place I truly call home.
