Over the past six weeks, I've been fortunate to intern at a foreign start-up company called Box2Box. Box2Box is a company that provides mini-storage services. They specialize in transporting items that customers need to store to the mini-warehouse, and then delivering these items to the specified address when needed. As an intern in the IT department, my role was mainly to use the GPT model's application programming interface to create a customer service chatbot and to fine-tune a large language model for the purpose.

Firstly, I'd like to share what I believe was my most valuable experience. The greatest takeaway from this internship was learning to apply the GPT model's application programming interface to develop a chatbot. This process gave me a profound understanding of how AI operates, and taught me how to use these tools to solve real-world problems. Our chatbot is not only able to answer customer queries but also provides personalized services based on their needs. This hands-on experience deepened my understanding of AI and showed me its endless possibilities.

However, the internship was not without its challenges. The largest obstacle I encountered was fine-tuning the large language model to meet our objectives. Given that each customer's needs are unique, we had to ensure that the chatbot could understand and adapt to these differing requirements. This entailed constant adjustments and optimization of the model, which was both time-consuming and difficult. Yet, it was this challenge that taught me to plan problem-solving strategies and continually revise them, enhancing my understanding of AI.

In summary, this internship provided me with invaluable knowledge and skills. I not only learned how to apply AI technologies to solve practical problems but also how to face and overcome challenges. I believe these experiences will greatly benefit my future career. I look forward to continuing to learn and explore the world of AI and apply these insights to more practical problems.
