CHU Chun To
2023 Year 5, BSc Computer Science

Programme: Natixis Hacktivity 2022 - Technology Hackathon

In the Natixis Hacktivity 2022 - Technology Hackathon, I was given the Ethereum fraud detection dataset for analysis. By applying my data science and machine learning skills learned at CUHK, I created an AI model, with data exploration and model training, to predict whether the record was a fraud. After the final presentation to the panels to justify and explain my work, I received a lot of feedback from them which in effect guided me for future improvement. It was a great experience for me to grow my data analysis and presentation skills, and I am honoured to have been selected as the second runner-up in the competition.

For my CUHK fellows, I believe that we all have a lot of potential. Participating in different kinds of activities can help to release your potential. So, just go ahead and dont be afraid to try out the activities youre interested in.
